Announcement from the NWTT Chamber regarding the 2020 Dixie Day:
April 14, 2020
The North Webster-Tippecanoe Township Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors had a virtual meeting on Monday April 13th. As you can imagine, there was much discussion around the coronavirus and its impact on our community. With that being said, we have decided to cancel 2020 Dixie Day. There are a couple of factors that we took into consideration: Dixie Day relies heavily on sponsorship from local businesses. In today’s challenging financial environment, we do not feel it is right to ask these businesses for monetary or in-kind donations. Also, while the stay at home order may be relaxed for summer, large gatherings may still not be allowed. We have chosen to make public safety our priority over the revenue that is generated from the festival. Dixie Day 2021… See you there!!
In lieu, we ARE working on putting something together for a later date, that will give our community a collaborative downtown celebration: #WebsterUnited Stay tuned for further details.
Please follow the NWTT Chamber of Commerce on Facebook (Click Here) for updates, news, and specials offered by area
Thank you for continued support of our local businesses!
Hang in there North Webster, WE WILL rise like a Phoenix because WE ARE #WebsterUnited
